It's time for another Book Blogger Hop, courtesy of Crazy for Books!
"Share your favorite post from last month and tell us why"
I discovered while look through my posts for May, that one scheduled post hadn't been published yet (probably cause I scheduled it for December in error !!)
Since it is a sensitive, yet very real issue today - what do you think?

Interesting post. I've never bought an ebook and hardly ever read them (except for school) so I've never really thought about pricing in my country or internationally.
ReplyDeleteI chose xxxHolic volume 1 by CLAMP as my favorite post for May 2011. Come see why.
Hi
ReplyDeleteHopping by and following through! I know your pain - I can't even buy it on Amazon (I'm in Australia) even though I can't buy the ebook locally either. The full price of the paperback if I bought that from an Australian store - $22.95
I preordered it at bookdepository.com for %5.62

pussreboots - I tend to buy from amazon quite a bit..
ReplyDeleteShelleyrae - Excellent info - I had no idea they didn't let you buy stuff from Australia..If you get a chance to get a US credit card, that is the one you can use on your Amazon account. Then you can have it delivered to Australia, no worries.
I generally use http://inkmesh.com/ to get a look at the different prices out there . . . the amount of variation between different sites is sometimes 200%. Crazy.

Hopping through. It is irritating that the books are priced so differently. I don't know that I'd like the government pricing it for me. They might take away the opportunity to get discounts.
ReplyDeleteMy Anniversary Hop
Seems like the government will always find a way to wheedle more and more money from citizen pockets.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I have been so swamped with work, so just going around to all your blogs now :)
ReplyDeleteMysteriousbooks was kind enough to bestow upon me the Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award, and I'd love to show my appreciation by passing it on to you.
ReplyDeleteI know we don't all collect awards, but if that's the case I'll still take the opportunity to say 'thanks' for such a lovely blog, and to wish you a wonderful weekend. :)
Sally, Much appreciated :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I'm late on comments this week. Great post on Ebooks.
