Teaser Tuesday #7 - Maker's Song 1- Rush of Wings

I seem to in that hazy valley in between books - I just finished Spider's Bite - Elemental Assassins by J. Estep  last night, and haven't really latched on to the next. So this teaser is from a book I am just beginning
Maker's Song #1 Rush of Wings by Adrian Phoenix

A Rush of Wings: Book One of The Maker's Song"The majority were Goth - dyed black hair, pale makeup, black lipstick and liner, male and female. Some of the young men seemed to think that they were Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise in that old vampire movie: long hair, lace ruffled shirts, velvet jackets, and silver-headed canes"

  15. Your teaser made me laugh! I can picture Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise and the boys trying to dress like them!
I hope you enjoy this book.

Whenever I read a book I really enjoyed/loved, I find it difficult to choose the next book I'll read. Often I have to let a little time go by before I read another book!

I'm reading Infinte Jest by David Foster Wallace (It's my teaser!) I've wanted to read this book for a long time but was a little intimidated because it's 800+ pages. I decided, finally, to just dive in!

    Happy Reading!

I've just started Bill Bryson's Down Under for my daily commute read- interesting but there's a little too much on Australian explorers so far.

  20. @sam, I love Bill Bryson, and I thought his tongue in cheek look at Australia was brilliant :) I did skip a little tho, particularly early on
