Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
For my first Teaser Tuesday, I am picking up a book off my To Be Re-read pile, one of my fave books ever by a debut author:
"Anything within your skill," she repeated playfully. "What can you do then, besides play so well that Tehlu and his angels would weep to hear?"
"I imagine I could do anything," I said easily. "If you would ask it of me."
"I imagine I could do anything," I said easily. "If you would ask it of me."
The re-read I plan on doing will be my third, and I am looking forward to getting into this mind-blowing book again. As long as I have to wait for the second book in the series to come out, I am just going to keep reading this book to get my fix of Kvothe, the book's hero.

ReplyDelete@oneblacksheep -
Thank you! i changed it a few weeks ago :)
Because I'm an author and do not want to get in trouble with fellow authors, I don't do reviews. The teaser, and an occasional tutorial, is as close as I get. But I'd be glad to tell you a little about Hungry for More.
ReplyDeleteIt is not a Romantic Comedy, but it has that kind of light, humorous feel to it. The heroine is a savvy scam artist who refuses to let herself really love someone because when the spirit voice first came to her, she named her own mother's true love, and it wasn't her father. Her mother abandoned them. The hero grew up in one of those cold, rich households where the mother is dead and the father lives for nothing but work, so he also has abandonment issues. When the two of them are together, they are great; sassy, fun, smart. This is not a particularly deep book, but it's very enjoyable.
I've got your name in the hat for the contest. I hope you win.
Nice Teaser!! Hope you continue with the TT.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog
