Thanks for visiting!
"What is your favorite book cover?"
A fav book cover? Can I say that this question stumped me a little?
A whole bunch of books I read are ebooks, and the cover doesn't get too much attention from me, I'm sorry to say. I do appreciate the posts bloggers I follow make on cover art, and fan covers!!
So after thinking for a LOONG time (3 minutes), I've come up with an old childhood friend of a cover -> The Dairy of Anne Frank, and this edition here is one I got from my grandmother! I'm sure there are newer covers, but I love this one. I remember spending time gazing at her face, and those expressive eyes, each time I read the book.
Come back Saturday for a new blogger spotlight!!
Hope you stay and check out a few posts, link back to your blog on comments.

ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to say hi. There are so many good covers to choose from, but I did like Anne Frank though. Also, I liked your post about the top 10 US libraries. I really want to move to Chicago!

Hi, visiting from the Blog Hop! I had a hard time with this question, too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a chance to visit one of my blogs: LibrarysCatBooks and especially Never Forget: Holocaust Resources !!
Donna
Hi there! I love this cover as well. Her eyes are very intense to me and I remember reading this book as a young girl.
ReplyDeleteI have too many favourite covers to list!
ReplyDeleteHappy blog hopping/folowing!
Here is my Book Blogger Hop post! I am a seriously eclectic reader! And I follow blogs in my google reader!
Visiting from the Hop. I haven't made the transition to e-books yet. Might get a Nook for Christmas, tho.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover choice!
ReplyDeleteI had this edition as well. It's so simple a cover & yet her sweet smiling face brings life to her already strong voice. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteJust hopping by and following through. A nice cover choice, it matters more of it means something to you
shelleyrae @ book'd out
@shelley from book'd you - Oh, nice thought - what it means to me IS more than just the cover...
ReplyDeleteVisiting everyone back!
Just stopping by on the hop. I hadn't thought about the effects an e-reader would have appreciating jacket art. Does the Kindle not show the jackets, or is it just because they're in black & white? Do you think a different e-reader would be better for that in particular?
ReplyDeleteI'm an old subscriber dropping by on the hop. I love your post about libraries. Outstanding!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice! The cover is so powerful, I remember going back and staring at the cover while reading too.
ReplyDeleteHopping in from the book hop (great exercise) and great choice of cover. I've found so many since the hop started. Nice to meet you.

I found your book thanks to the Book Blogger Hop. Have a lucky weekend! -- Vanessa Morgan
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit! I so enjoy reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great answer to the question! I have to admit, I've never read all of the Diary of a Young Girl, though I keep meaning to. I've always been drawn to covers of biographies and memoirs that really show the person in a great way. This one does that, definitely.
ReplyDeleteHi again, thanks for the great comments this hop - all your covers were pretty interesting, and my goodreads tbr list just grew again.
