I can safely assume, dear blogger and reader, that you are fairly used to the online world.
There are naturally levels of familiarity and usage, but I spend about 80% of my awake time online, thanks to work and fun - I stream TV episodes online, read books online, play my music from on-demand sites or radio. This isn't unusual for some of you, I bet!
So why today to express my net-love?
Well, I'm am simply amazed at how much easier it has become to get the book I want, when I want it!

ReplyDeleteI couldn’t agree more. Don’t know how I’d survive without the internet. Historically, I’ve kept my reading world separate, but those two worlds are on a collision course. It’s only a matter of time before I break down and try an e-reader!

ReplyDeleteI definitely spend more money on the Internet than in normal shops. I also earn my living there as I am a freelance translator. Without a day online I would feel weird. Is that an addiction?
ReplyDeleteI love the internet. It's the easiest way to keep in touch with friends in other states and countries (Facebook/email). It lets me connect with people with common interests that I might not otherwise meets (blogs/twitter). I can be constantly entertained or listen to any music I want (I use playlist.com). Today I've been doing the blog thing, arranging holiday travel, and Christmas shopping.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree, I love the internet as well. My day seems to miss something when I don't log on for one reason or another. Whether it's to update facebook, check out blog posts, look up how to do/fix something, borrow an ebook, or just chat with my tribe of gals. This week I plan on adding finishing up Christmas shopping to the list of things I'll be doing online...I love the internet too!!
