Teaser Tuesday #9 - A Song of Fire and Ice - A clash of Kings

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. Anyone can play along!
A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 2)"All that about the thunder of the drums, sunlight flashing on armor, magnificent destriers snorting and prancing? Well, the drums gave me headaches, the sunlight flashing on my armor cooked me up
like a harvest day goose, and those magnificent destriers shit everywhere."
Pg. 49

My TT is from A Song of Fire and Ice - A Clash of Kings, the second book in the famous series by George R. R. Martin. I do like the irreverant tone of this teaser!

  1. It is a more irreverent teaser than I would have expected!

My teaser comes from The Night Villa by Carol Goodman

  2. Hey, they're just telling it like it is. BTW, your link at Should be reading is to her blog, not your teaser.

  3. Thanks kaye for the headsup on the link error! Iwas wondering why there were so few people heading this way.

  4. Talk about taking the romance out of a story with a heaping dose of reality, lol.

I, too, had trouble with the link you left on my blog, but was able to get here by clicking on your name and coming through your profile page. Thanks for visiting!

  5. @marg , @Heather - thanks so much for stopping by!
I think 50% of the sites i visited will have the wrong link :(

  6. Now I really want to read this series! Great teaser. Mine is at The Crowded Leaf.

  7. Never heard of this series.
    Thanks for visiting my blog

  8. Love the post, and hope you like the book. My post is at my blog...

and I have an award for you over at my blog, because yours is absolutely wonderful:

    One Lovely Blog Award

I hope you accept it, and have a wondeful day!

  9. great teaser, and Song of Ice and Fire is a great series. very epic.

now we just need Martin to come out with the 5th book already!!

  10. I'm still on Book 2, and at this rate of reading (wildly interspersed with many many other books) I will probably land up to book 4 just at the right time :)
On that note - I saw this hilarious probability map on the internet, probability of world ending at 65:1, probably of GRRM Book 5 at 100:1 :D

Thank you for the comment! I will always reply to each comment, and if you leave a link, comment on your site as well.
