Teaser Tuesday #9 - A Song of Fire and Ice - A clash of Kings

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB of Should be Reading. Anyone can play along!
A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, Book 2)"All that about the thunder of the drums, sunlight flashing on armor, magnificent destriers snorting and prancing? Well, the drums gave me headaches, the sunlight flashing on my armor cooked me up
like a harvest day goose, and those magnificent destriers shit everywhere."
Pg. 49

My TT is from A Song of Fire and Ice - A Clash of Kings, the second book in the famous series by George R. R. Martin. I do like the irreverant tone of this teaser!

  2. Hey, they're just telling it like it is. BTW, your link at Should be reading is to her blog, not your teaser.

  4. Talk about taking the romance out of a story with a heaping dose of reality, lol.

I, too, had trouble with the link you left on my blog, but was able to get here by clicking on your name and coming through your profile page. Thanks for visiting!

  10. I'm still on Book 2, and at this rate of reading (wildly interspersed with many many other books) I will probably land up to book 4 just at the right time :)
On that note - I saw this hilarious probability map on the internet, probability of world ending at 65:1, probably of GRRM Book 5 at 100:1 :D
