Ask The Experts. In your post, ask the visitors to your blog for blogging advice. |
1. How do you avoid any blogging "slumps", where you stay away from your blog for a week or two on end?
2. Do you find, like I do, that weekends are slow for views/people reading your posts?
My tip:
Get Cross-blog audiences! Guest post, or interview on other blogs to help promote yours.
I feature a blogger interview every month here.

I think to keep yourself from getting into a slump it's great to take a break in the week. I also always try to keep enough space between review books so I can fit in books I'm looking forward to reading and not reviewing. I do also find weekends to be slow so I generally take one of those days to take a break from touching anything blog related. Cross-posts are a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI am the WORST at giving slump advice. (says she as she is suffering from one now and hoping that this Armchair BEA was exactly the shot in the arm she needed)
ReplyDeleteGuest posts are great for attracting new readers and it helps even more if you do a guest spot in a non-book blog!
I like that you feature blogger interviews. That's great. :-)
ReplyDeleteWeekends are really, really slow for me. I generally take weekends off of posting because I think less people are online.
ReplyDeleteIf you have the time, I’d love to hear from you at my intro armchair BEA post.
